    Our History

    Dr. Richard McClurg established Canal Eye Care, our optometry practice, in 1973 with the goal of providing exceptional eye care to the community. In 2004, Dr. William Murray took over the practice, continuing to work alongside Dr. McClurg until his retirement in 2020. Now, more than 50 years after its inception, Canal Eye Care remains dedicated to serving families in Canal Winchester and the surrounding areas with comprehensive eye exams and a commitment to your eye health needs.
